Hastelloy C-276 is an excellent corrosion resistant superalloy. It is widely used in many industries. Hastelloy C-276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. Compared with nickel-chromium superalloy, Hastelloy C-276 has better overall corrosion resistance.
We produce Hastelloy C-276 wire strictly according to ASTM B574. Hastelloy C-276 is a solid solution strengthened alloy, and the strength of the alloy cannot be controlled by heat treatment. However, for Hastelloy C-276 wire, we can achieve the high strength of the alloy by cold drawing, and precisely control the mechanical properties of the alloy by heat treatment.

The chromium content ensures the oxidation resistance of Hastelloy C-276 wire. The molybdenum content ensures the reduction resistance of Hastelloy C-276 wire. Therefore, Hastelloy C-276 achieves good overall corrosion resistance.
According to the standard, manufacturers are required to perform chemical analysis according to ASTM B880.

Molybdenum and tungsten are added to Hastelloy C-276. These two elements have obvious solid solution strengthening effect on the alloy. So Hastelloy C-276 has higher strength. The supplier shall ensure that the alloy has undergone a standard solution treatment.
